The hotel is located in a vibrant area close to many great activities such as shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants, including a variety of Asian options. It is also within walking distance of Stanley Park, the bay area, and downtown. the rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with spectacular views from higher floors, such as the 25th floor mentioned in the review. the staff is accommodating and helpful, going above and beyond to meet guests' needs, including extending their stay and locking in the previous rate.
The wifi at the hotel is almost non-existent.

Hotel is excellently placed on Robson St. and the tour buses stop right outside the front door. I asked for a nice view and our room was on the 36th floor with a fabulous view over the city including Stanley Park and the Lions Gate bridge. The room was spacious and comfortable. We thought it was very good value.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of Downtown Vancouver, just off the busy area of Robson street. This makes it convenient for exploring the city and accessing various attractions. Additionally, the rooms on the 37th floor provide an amazing view of the harbour, especially those with balconies. The value for money is also commendable, with breakfast included in the rate, allowing guests to start their day off on a satisfying note.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

The Lobby - a lovely entrance. The fabulous views from our room. Comfortable beds and linens.
Entrance from the parking was a little shabby, as well as the bathroom. There was a crack in the marble tub surround which needs attention and the cupboard door had water damage and should be replaced.

Friendliness of staff.
Having to get out of car in dark laneway late at night to press buzzer to get into underground parking. Also, my final invoice put under my door shows a total charge of $ 124.94 but my credit card is showing a pending charge for $ 184.

The view from our 33rd floor room...English Bay, Stanley Park...wonderful sunsets. Nice fast elevators. Very comfortable room. Nice linens. The area has lots of pretty good, inexpensive, ethnic restaurants. We could walk to lots of Vancouver attractions, and public transit goes right by the Empire Landmark
The revolving restaurant. Too dark. Food not that great.

Great location with beautiful views of downtown Vancouver. Each room has a balcony. Really liked the breakfast buffet on the top floor at the revolving Cloud 9 restaurant.
The bed was very uncomfortable with a very hard mattress. Hotel staff was very nice when we requested extra pillows to try to make it a little better though!

Great view from bedroom at 31st floor. Fantastic view from bar/restaurant Cloud 9 - 42nd floor. Booked thru Booked.net for less then cad100 per night
Rooms are relatively small. Funny "fresh" smell in the hotel.

The reason why we chose this hotel is that they had the best price for a double room in the downtown location. It turned out that we loved the location, it was not right in the busy area with all the shops but was 2min away from those. It was also within walking distance to the harbour or the Stanley park. They also give you a list of shops and restaurants that you can get discount from, which worked really nice for us cause we rent bikes from one of them. Staffs were willing to help whenever you have questions, but the only is that some of them did not seem to know the area so well, expecially when it comes to tourist information.
Except for the lack of knowledge on tourist information, they did not have a pool or Jacuzzi, which is a minor shortcoming
